This is probably a longshot but me and a riding buddy of mine have heard that there are a number of private backyard tracks in the area and often hear bikes nearby living it up. We have no idea where or who they are but we're extremely jeolous and would very much like to hook up with 'em. I'm hoping maybe one of 'em might be a DRN member and wouldn't mind a couple of new riding buds. We're pretty slow and need all the practice we can get and it would sure be nice to find something local to brush up on our riding skills without having to drive for hours to the nearest track.

give this a try

Try stopping in at Ray'c cycle in Lapeer. Ask to talk with Mike in sales. He lives some where down by you. Also Matt Crown Racing (MCR) is in Metamora. He may know of some place. There is also Freeline Raceway 4 miles south of Marlette. Take m-53 to Barnes road, turn west for 1 and a half miles to cargill road(only goes north) it will be on the west side of the road. Good Luck. Big Jim
