looking for places to ride in virginia and possibly people to ride with?

looking for as many places as i can find. i have never had the chance to ride on a track but i've always wanted to. id like to find some places to do some trail riding as well.also looking for people to possibly ride with sometimes since all my friends gave up the sport basically.

The only place I've ridden trails in VA was at Smith Mountain Lake. It is not an officially open place to ride, but there are trails and roads all over the mountain above the Dam (with the tower on top). It included my favorite hill climb ever which was a fire break that a dozer made straight up/down the side of the mountain...hair-raising! It made for a good afternoon of riding and nobody seemed to minde we were there. (lucky?)
