Originally posted by oldguy Mike your tribute to Lori's strength and determianation just shows your families true values. Your family is the best out there and we at DRN are blessed to have you sharing with us. With Lori's will she will be there for many more milestones in Tommy's life and his childrens.
Please give her a hug from my family.
Lori was so sweet to me after the Ladies MX race.
After 4 days of riding with my stupid rib injury I could barely breath.
She took me in the office and checked me out and gave me some pain pills.
She told me how had cracked her rib once and how she thought she'd hurt her knee instead.
She was so caring and gave me her abosolute attention with all the races going on outside too.
She is a very warm individual with a big heart.
ps. Tommy has a much too refined sense of humor to be only 4!
What planet is he from?
I wish Lori a speedy recovery through this ordeal. You and Lori have been great to me: inviting me into your home, feeding me, wrenching on my bike, etc., etc. I will always remember the kindness of your family and hope that I can repay it. Lori is in our thoughts.
