Ferry not at Anaheim practice

Racer X was surprised to see that Tim Ferry, currently third in points, did not attend practice at Anaheim today (while, oddly, Jeremy McGrath did). Keep an eye on this breaking story - from what we understand, Ferry will be racing tomorrow. But what he will be racing remains to be seen. Also, the #15 YZ450F is not currently under the Yamaha tent. Stay tuned....

Did MC ride the KTM?

McGrath said he just wants to learn the track because for his parade lap he is going to ride instead of just a helmetless parade lap like he has been doing. Most likely throw a few nac nacs out for the fans too :).

As for the Ferry thing I wish I knew what was going on. One board there was rumors of Ferry showing up on a Bud Light KTM but I think that is a pie in the sky scenario they way Bud Light yanked MC's sponsorship as soon as he retired. Wish I knew one way or another because I have to make my fantasy sx pics and Red Dog was one of em but If it's his first race on a new ride I think I'll pass on him.

I just got back from press day there, McGrath was out there in the factory practice, it was really cool seeing him out there again! He didn't ride too hard, but he was practiceing his nac nac's over the triples every lap :thumb:.

And yes he was on the KTM.

Pichon was also riding, he looked pretty good to me, but I didn't watch him too much.

Man, would I like to see what Pichon could do these days. Personally, I don't think he could podium, but you never know... :debil:
