Mitsubishi Generators

Anybody have any knowledge on these? I have looked at all the others and the mitsubishi seems to have all the same features and same decible levels as the expensive ones (Honda, Onan). I found a place that has them for about $300-500 cheaper than other brands. The type I'm looking at is 4000w, 68dbl, electric and pull start, voltage meter. $1100.00

See if you can run the generator. Ideally you can add a load to it to hear what it will really sound like. Sometimes those decibel ratings are conveniently misleading like no load at 100 feet at idle.

Compare weight, fuel capacity, and ease of maintenance too.

The mitsubishi engines in my family's various autos (dodge caravan v6, eclipse 4 cyl) have been very good runners. Mitsubishi electronics has been making vcrs and stereo type stuff for a long time too.
