Mistake #1
buying my parts at Chaparral (gave me the wrong piston)
Mistake #2
Buying the MSR Chain Slider($27.99). First problem is with the mounting. The stock unit has 3 mounting holes The MSR unit only uses 2 of the holes and the holes are to small for the cups that insert into them. I had to enlarge the holes with a drill which leads me to drilling a hole through my workbench.
My advice is to spend the extra $13.00 for the stock unit.
Positive #1
The guy forgot to charge me for the x-ring chain. So I guess that kinda makes up for the piston.
