Roger, haven't seen you in a while! Are you planning on riding this weekend, or are you helping put on the race?

As always, I've got an excuse for not riding the race. Next weekend is the annual North Texas Powerstoke Association get-together/BBQ/crawfish boil.

I will however, be there this weekend as mentioned, and Dad will be up for the day on Saturday.

It has been awhile - I've been out 3 times and worked twice. I have the school house section.
OK Brian, when are you going to take the hot pink skirt off and ride an enduro??! ;)
Why don't you and Jim/boys ride on a row together, the ride is toned down for the short course... YOU can do it!! :ride:

Hey guys, I know this sounds sad. but ive never been to Meunster. Is it 13-yearold rookie-friendly?

thanks,

JB

Absolutely. There are plenty of fire roads and more open, flat trails to take a newb riding on. Just don't let a new rider get lost, there are some tough sections out there too.

Roger:
like I mentioned, I've got previous engagements for next weekend. I'll ride the race next year. I promise

Are you coming out to ride Saturday or Sunday?

Sweet. Sounds like a decent sized crew! I'm going to try and be on the road by 7:30. Should have me unloaded and ready to hit the trail by 9:15.

That's probably about the same time I'll be getting there.

What will you guys be driving so I can stop by and say hey? I want to say I've ridden w/you before @ Bell's last year some time (w/Eric and his dad), but I can't remember for sure.

I was there Thursday with two sons and my daughter. It was dry and hard-packed everywhere except a few mudholes. We had fun, but I had some bike problems. Broken kickstarter mechanism on the 200, and engine problems with the 400. Might be ready for a rebuild. Anyway, I'm out for the enduro. You all have fun.

Ok, so I know where Brian is parking, is everyone else gathering near him (except Mike)? I'll probably be going up solo, so I just want to make sure I'm able to catch up w/someome when I get up there.

Well... I got there about 10am, and left a bit after 2pm. Rode around the parking areas, but never saw any trucks that had the DirtRider.net sticket, etc. Oh well

Sorry I didn't get to catch up w/you Mike. Did you make it out to any of the trails or just hang around camp mostly?

The DRN guys were parked through the 2nd gate in a big meadow, which you can also get to by following the creek (by the sandy area) north.

It was my first time meeting many of the guys on here and it was nice to finally put some faces w/the names
