Whew, that was fun! It was great meeting everyone (forgot who all it was so wont try to name everyone) and can't wait to ride with you guys again, even though I rode like a squid Saturday. I plan on giving Brian a call about my suspension Monday!
Great time and great to meet another group of folks and put faces with screen names.
Keeto, if you were a squid on Saturday, you must have recovered by this morning. You could have passed Jeff and I anytime you wanted. Great to meet you and look forward to Kiamichi in ONLY two weeks!!!
Also let me appologize to anyone that we woke up when we arrived. There were still four dihards around the fire.
I actually rode better today but didn't want to push my luck. I guess the great sleep I got (2 hours) must have helped! I never heard you guys come in but had planned on trying to stay around the campfire until you did - dang Shiners!
Your son did great once he got on the e-start machine. I could tell he was getting frustrated with the 200 as he kept stalling it. I didn't mind following you guys at all. I usually ride sweep with my friends just so I don't lose any of them. That was contrary to what happened to me Saturday... I kept falling back to avoid the dust and then lost everyone else!
Roger, I had a talk with Jim's YZ today and it doesn't really hate you. It was just getting even!
Sorry I couldn't make it out. Girlfriend's move got pushed back to Sat. and today, so we got to to to the SX, but not ride afterwards. Keeto, Brian does good stuff. He's really helped me out a lot in the past 2 weeks getting the suspenders on my KTM set up. I highly recommend him. His shop isn't open on Monday, so call him up on Tuesday. Make sure you ask him about the clickers and stuff, he'll go into all the details about how to get it working the best possible way. The guy knows his stuff. I guess that's enough free advertising for one day. Tomorrow I think I'll plug him on the TCCRA boards... :)
I talked to him on Sat morning and I really wished I could have been out there on Friday. I bet Josh, Brian, and Mark were a blast to ride with. I would have liked to have met Josh again, the last time I saw him I was about 8 years old. I'm seriously bummed I had to miss out on this trip. Maybe someday I'll actually get to ride with everybody (just not anytime soon, I have something every weekend until after graduation.. May 29th.. ACK!)
