I have a set of Gaerne boots. The soles are not worn through but have smoothed out a lot and my foot moves around on the peg quite a bit - the little beveled part under the arch was helpful in getting your foot back to the right spot.
Of course I would like a set of SG10, but thought I would give the resole a try (and send off another College fund payment for the kids). The boots are in great shape otherwise.
I can find the soles OK, but who puts them on for you? A shoe repair shop or is there a company that specializes in this. The Gaerne people did not have any contacts.
