IMHO, while not the greatest action, from a technical standpoint, this is the image I'm most happy with. I REALLY like the fact that the kid ran a clear lens, the eyes are what make the shot.
1/500 , f/11, ISO400, 146mm, no flash. (shutter priority)
AHHH!!!! Must be nice to have more $$ than brains eh? I won't even guess what all that cost, but he could have done with about half of it, lol. Just in the 300 & 500 there's what, $16,000 ?
POTN?
If I remember correctly, the experts estimated he had about $50,000-$60,000 in equipment there. I guess he was into model trains and when he retired he sold it all off and bought camera equipment. Must have been some amazing trains! Seeing all those red "L's" gives me goosebumps!
Sorry, I didn't see that the first time. Yep I just discovered POTN about two weeks ago, so I'm trying to absorb as much info as possible. Seems to be a great site with lots of pics posted. Although I'm really enjoying the DRN MotoPhoto section too!
Bob-Did you by any chance save the shot I took of the RMZ250 in the corner from last summer? I was going thru the pics I had backed up and for whatever reason, I only burned the following week onto a CD (from the other track that RJ owns. Not as good of shots).
I used to pretend I was Hannah when my bike went into a tank slapper and I ended up on my head. I never quite got the "saved another tank slapper" part down the way the Hurricane did. :)
