Need some help

Have 99 yz 250 that i just bought but cant get it running right. I bogs really bad when u get on the throttle. Tried a bunch of different main jets and pilot jets no change in performance. Pulled the carb off and took out the reed cage and it was soaked with fuel and below it there was a good amount of raw fuel. Is this normal? Or could this be part of my problem

Does it bog immediatly when you get on the throttle? Does it idle ok? Is the problem under load or just reving the throttle?

it idles fine. And it will rev up fine sitting there in netural. But under load it just bogs out. Its driving me crazy.

Cleaned the air filter yet?

When you "just buy" a bike you need to go through everything and inspect

the "the oil was changed after ride" uphamism is a load of poo
