I'm tired of quickly wearing out a medium-hard terrain back tire and have been looking at hard terrain tires. I ride mostly in very rocky
and hard packed clay terrain. I prefer a motocross tire pattern, compared to a enduro, and have been looking at a Bridgestone M22. Any thoughts?

Not sure if this helps or not but I put Cheng Shin Hard Terrain tires on my previous bike and they are still going strong a year later with a different owner. Never had issues with traction and when you can get 2 for $55 it is well worth it. I wouldn't recommend them if you ride alot of track though.

I have a Kenda Carlsbad. Wearing very well, ride mostly hard pack. No rocks. Some of the mags said it was very good overall value.

pssst.... hard terrian tires are typically softer rubber than soft terrain tires.

umm...I rode a few laps on my dunlop 756's on hard pack and that considerably rounded them in minutes...my 739's need replacement now after about 2 months and just 3 races, all hardpack. I'm trying a maxxis this time.
