New rider from NY

Hey All
I just picked up a '08 yz250fx haven't ridden in the dirt in about 25 years. Been riding on the street for about 20 years. Just trying to get used to riding this thing again before i head to track. Any pointers and places to ride would be help full. Thanks Chris

Welcome to the club. I used to live in your area a few years ago...on Traver Road. I moved a little ways down 84 to Wappingers Falls. I wish I could share some riding areas with you, but I have been having a hard time finding them myself. Thinking about stopping by Dutchess Recreation to see if they know of any areas that are ok to ride. Anyway...welcome and hope to see you on the trails.
