I got a 1986 RM 250, and i need to get a rear shock for it. It would cost about 200 bux to get it rebuilt, so im just gonna try and find a cheap one on that person to person buying and selling place that i can't list because of this stupid SpamKiller. The question is....would any old RM shock work with the setup of my bike. With the 86 RM the canister is connected to the shock via tube and u gotta hang the canister up. On the newer RM's, the canister is built into the side of the shock.

It looks like i could probably rig it to work.....just need some opinions.
and one more question.....is there really any difference between a 125 shock and a 250 shock?
