If I want to keep my stock 01 RM250 reed block, what kind of reeds can I use that will wake up the lower end of my powerband. Stock bike , I ride MX.

I see Boyesen has 2 or 3 kinds , what do you guys hear or have firsthand experience with?

I used the Boyesen superstock. They are supposed to give the same performance as stock and last longer (and cost less) If your current reeds are old, I'm guessing just this return to stock will give a noticable improvement. (in my experience, reeds don't have to be chipped to rob power)

I am very happy with my Boyesen super stock - changing the reed cage opens up jetting issues in my experience.

I put the V-Force in at the low tension setting and it really added to the low end. I don't believe the new V-Force has adjustable settings now so I can't say how well it works. I had to modify the stock reed block too.

I've also had a lot of luck with the Carbon Tech low tension reeds. I'd go with the Carbon Tech if you don't want to spend a bundle and still get good performance.

Hey, Flyinzuki, Can you make it to Paragon this weekend? Check out the Places to Rid forum
