robwbright - That sucks. Read this. You may need a bone graft surgery (and maybe a new orho). If you want a quick 2nd opinion from a doctor go over to ktmtalk.com (Injured Rider section) and ask "Dr. Mark" what he thinks and post X-rays if you have them.

I'm not with the same ortho. . .

It's still healing on the MRI - my current doc is of the opinion that as long as it's not a non-union and is still healing (T1 and T2 signals show current healing), then it will heal . . . We'll see.

Thanks for the info. I've been on about 50 pages about scaphoid breaks in the last couple months.

You mentioned Dr. Mark before and now - I may go speak with him . . .

Thnaks again.

I went in today at 8:30 AM, arthoscopy knee surgery at 10:30 and home by 1 PM. I walked out of the hospital. I am walking around the house and the more I move the better it feels. All went well, I see the Doc in a week to see about starting to ride the trainer bike and begin to get in shape. I have done ZERO exercise since Nov 17th. It's time to lose weight and give Don a run for his money next season with a healthy body.

It's probably good that you work at least one day per week, then you have one day for bike prep and 5 days of riding per week.
