OK, find me an XR650R

Well, it looks like the WR400 is gonna go bye-bye this weekend.

Will all you bird dogs please help me find an XR650R at a good price? I hear there is a $500 rebate on them but don't know much more. Also CycleTrader turned up a big zero looking there.

I'd like a hardly ridden used one from an individual as my first choice, but may have to go to a dealer. A friend just got a 2000 hardly ridden in stock corked-up form for $3900 from a local dealer. Sounds like a good buy to me.

Tex, go to www.ocautotrader.com. There are several new XR650Rs with some of the best prices I've seen; to use as a reference (didn't figure you'd want to come to CA, besides the lights may be out). Sounds like the "bucks" incentives expires in a few weeks.

Way ahead of ya, punkin'head. Working from my original post and the $3900 target for a hardly ridden 2K, $4500 seems a bit steep for my wallet.

Their site shows the "L" for $4899 and the "R" for $5299. I'll call and see if this is before the $500 Honda bucks. $4799 would be pretty Sa-WEEET!

tex,there is one at our local dealer , its a 2000 with low miles on it it looks real clean and is $5900 cdn ($3900 american) its been there awhile so you could probably get it cheaper.email me if you want his number.
