I am turning 16 in a few months and in the process of shopping for a vehicle. I was originally planning on getting a truck to be able to haul my dirtbike to the races. but here in IL with such a huge gas tax, (right now gas is $3.35, and its supposed to raise another 30 cents in the next 2-3 weeks.) a truck is starting to look out of the question for the budget.

is there a way to haul a dirtbike on a car? like a small trailer? have you ever seen anyone do this?

to tell you the truth im afraid of looking stupid pullin my dirtbike to the track behind a car.

Pulling a trailer behind a car would be fine!

Don't worry about how it looks.. It doesn't matter. If people laugh at you on the way in, put a spankin on them on the track.. They won't be laughing on your way out...

What about an S-10 or ranger with a 4 cylinder. They are inexpensive in my area. And yes, you can pull a small trailer w/a car.

Most of the small trucks get decent mileage. Remember it's not how you look coming or going but having fun.

When I lived in Holland, no one had trucks. 99% of people pulled their trailers behind the tiniest of cars. Don't worry about how it looks, you will be saving money on gas and on insurance.

My buddy Chad pulls his Yamaha Raptor on a home made trailer with his '96 Ford Escort. It looks a little wierd, but you would be surprised at how many cars actaully do have trailer hitches if you look.
