Have to wait a couple more days for more info. The court date scheduled for Monday was postponed until Wednesday, and with a different judge.

Now that sounds like a good move! That first judge looked like he could have been a bit biased.

Todays hearing didnt go so well, have to wait and see what happens. I know Kyle has said he will take it all the way to state supreme court if he has to.

I hear he has been ordered off the land as of Monday. The judge said the appeal was too late. He plans to appeal but it doesn't look good. Crap.

The of the best riding locations on the east coast - maybe THE PREMIER off-road location on the east cost - Gone.

It's not easy being a dirt biker.

Wanna help with this land issue?? The best way to do that right now is to read the posts on the Paragon forum, and submit personal, well thought out emails and letters to all the government officials and media crews. Already, many of the media are getting involed solely because of the mass emails they are recieving on this issue. Most have said they have NEVER seen this much support for any one cause! Lets keep it going, let them know we don't plan on taking this laying down!

And definitly make plans to attend the Paragon/Kyle and Stephanie Benefit Ride on Feb 3rd. Admission will be only $5.00 per person, no matter what you drive or ride. We are having a HUGE raffle on the 3rd also.

Admission for Sunday Feb 4th is also just $5.00.

Please make every attempt to attend to show support for the 2 people who are doing all our battles for us, Kyle and Stephanie Knosp, Paragon owners.

See you all there this weekend!!!!!!!!

It really s**ks that PAP will close it's doors. Now that PAP is RIP, has any one here ever tried Tower City. Being that it is one of the only legal places left I am thinking to join, but hoped to get some info prior to that. How is that place? Have Damn Yankees thought of relocating their Spring ride there, if not there than where?

What I cannot understand is that why the Knopfs didn't try to fight this earlier or begin looking for land last summer. Word is they were informed of this in August of last year. The fact that the funding has been secured for the airport and the plans are already made further backs up the August time frame. Why wait to the last minute to file an appeal?

You cant fight city hall...period. Money will always win out. Thats life and it aint gonna change. That is your governmaent working hard for you with your tax dollars. I am starting to see why countries hate us so much, the common working man gets screwed everytime. Equality in the US....my ass!

Yea i'm also a member. Been one for a long time.. Nice area plus real close to Rausch Creek. You are not supposed to ride one place to another but i will just say sometimes it happens

But I still think the trails are average, nothing that is really too challenging. Not saying you can't hurt yourself, but overall if you ride at tower city's trails than jump on Rausch creeks tracks you have the best of both worlds..

Kyle and Steph have been fighting this for over a year now, they had already appealed the original verdict last year which brought them back to court this past week. As for land, they have also been looking for land for over a year now. http://www.paragonap.com/p_expansion.htm

The problem with towercity, etc is you need to become a member to ride. Cant see forking out that kind of money to ride 2 or 3 times a year. Paragon was nice since it was a pay as you go or yearly. I guess i can just swing by for the after ride party and hanging out as that is the main reason i attend, visiting with friends.

Been following this topic for a little now on various forums and this just sucks. I'm about to go back to the ways of just riding illegally wherever others ride in my area. It seems riding legally on private land or whatever and paying $$$ is just a lost cause now. For the amount of time I actually have to ride, TC is out of my price range for a membership. Truly a loss for riders of all kinda that visit PAP yearly.

It just blows. Finally have a legal place that's good to ride on junk property with no noise issues, etc.
and now this happens. I'm so mad that I can't even write a letter right this second because all I can think of to say is
FYYFF !!!!!!!!!

I think this might be the final straw for me.... :( I give up.

First it was the pine lands, then the local trails all became housing developments. I would like to try TC, but with the whole membership thing, I just don't see that happening. Also I have heard mixed reviews of both. Now if the PA DNR could pull there heads out of there ass and let bikes on the ORV trails......

What about Rausch Creek? I hear that they have access to some decent trails too.
