Is that a cool sentence or what? :)

If/when I get new wheels, it will either be torq thrusts, torq thrust II's, or cragar ss...in 17" of course.  Here is a pic of the new style ss wheel.

I may try to trade my wheels in for some Weld Draglites for the time being.  I'm just really tired of the wheels that are on it.

Thanks for the compliments on the car!

Jay, lets see that chevelle.  BTW, the 427 is my favorite engine...

Holy moly!  14:1, .688, and 5300 stall!!!!!!!  I assume it sees the track quite a bit?  Do you street it...or attempt to?

WOW   :thumb:

I built it as a street car, obviously it doesn't tour the interstates but I do drive it.   I haven't drag raced it a long time but I used to do it on occasions.  It pounds pretty hard and sure is fun to pull into a cruise-in :thumb:

Here it is at Indy Raceway park in its early days (street class with a 396 running 13s).  I have been through 2 engines since then

If you ever plan on dragging it towards the southern end of the state, let me know.  I want to come see it.  I just can't imagine 14:1 with a cam that big and stall that high on the street!  That's awesome!

The engine is very streetable, the roller really made a huge difference, I used to have a .601 flat tappet in it and had a hard time idling it down. The roller will idle down to 1000 rpm with no problem. The dominator runs real clean and doesnt load up.

The furthest south I have taken it is to the Hot Rod power tour in Springfield IL. The cops shut down the burnouts before I could on that street :( I was gonna leave a little soft compound rubber there :) She does a nice burnout in high gear at 7000 rpm hehe

I miss my 'Stang even though she needed a LOT of work. She ran good--too good for my driving record. I was 18, it was a good memory at least.

I LOVE the Cragars. They are my all time favorite muscle car wheels--nothing can beat a classic.

Here is my Mustang (please don't laugh, it's a bad picture of me)

Hmmm, won't seem to let me attach a picture (don't know what the problem is). Try this.
