Power Reeds

Okay so I have been refreashing my 1980 Suzuki PE400t up a bit because it looks like I will be on it for another 2-3 years before upgrading. So I bought performance reeds from boyesen. I then relize that I have to take the cylinder off of the block to do this. My bike is older and like every thing else I have done I will find things in need off replaceing once I get into it. I did get the OEM reed gasket from Suzuki but I would need the number 8 gasket but what about the discontinued number 2 gasket would that be a problem look at the link to see what I am talking about. Okay I can not post the link in here but if you are familiar with this engine let me know and I will foward you the link to seewhat you think.

head gasket made of copper sometimes they show up at auction.another alternative is to spray it with copper based silicone sealnt from permatex
