I was just curious, how do you know what the mileage or Hours ridden on a bike are anyways? Do you have to buy a speedometer? I don't see any of that info displayed on the bike, unless I am blind.

Not there. Some enduro or dual purpose bikes have odometers, but they are resettable.

If you want to keep track yourself, get an hourmeter that has a pickup wire wrapped around the spark plug wire to know when the engine is running and it accumlates time while the engine is firing. Some of them even have periodic reminders to change oil, highest RPM recall, etc.
