problem starting now?!

I just installed a new/used S/A on the 87~200, repacked etc. Now it's very hard to start (7 or 8 kicks) prior to this 1 or 2 kicks, i'm trying to resort the jetting, isn't running with the stank it had before, is this my starting problem or am i missing something! :ugg:

Let me ask the obvious. Did it go back together the same way it came apart? I'm assuming you cleaned the SA when you had it all disassembled. So, under the assumption you didn't touch anything else and your bike ran perfectly before, your jetting shouldn't have changed that much. Check your SA assembly and method of packing (no holes plugged).

i thought i put it together the same way, not too much to screw up, or at least i thought, i will recheck though!

still working on the ktm...i've been so busy building my shop, i haven't accomplished much. found an ignition cover, haven't ordered the flywheel and stator yet, after that it should be running!
