My son has a `95 CR125. I was reading in the manual about putting distilled water in the radiator. I need to put antifreeze in the mix. My question is, is it OK to put the pre-mixed antifreeze in it? Thats what I bought, just haven`t used it yet. Wanted to make sure it was OK first.
Thanks in advance for the look and any help !!

Your fine as most modern antifreeze (ethlyene glycol) mixtures are safe for aluminum since most every vehicle now uses auminum in the cooling sustem somewhere. The reason you should use distilled water when mixing your own is that ordinary tap water contains minerals. When water is heated the minerals will contaminate your cooling system by forming scale that clogs the tiny passages in radiatiors. So, mix with distilled water or use pre-mix. One other thing, make sure your mixture is what the book calls for. Too much antifreeze (percentage) does not make engines run cooler.
