Was dry and dusty in most areas last weekend except in shaded areas which were about perfect. It looks like they have recieved a little over 2 tenths of rain so far. if it clears up and we get no more rain it probally will be on the dry side. Rain fall totals are available for the area if you go to timekeepersrmc.com and go to the links section, there you will find the links for Spanish Lake, New Idra ect.

Redondo,

It will be epic conditions. Hope you don't get lost in the Snow this year.
Lots of Rain, Lots of Snow up top and A lot of Mud. Should be as fun as last year. Looks like it's Nor Cal against So. Cal. See you Sat. morning, don't forget my rental bike. Bring some sand to put under my tent. It looks like some of the fast guys are going on a lovers ride in Reno.

Well, here's something for thought. One friend I rode with was on row 30, A senior. At the first check on the second loop, they told him he was the 25th person through. That's 29 rows of 4 ahead of him, and only twenty five of those continued.
The first loop was pretty damn hard with the conditions. I have a 2002 300 mxc and ran out of gas 2 miles from the end of the first loop. With a stock 2.9 gallon tank topped just before the race.

needless to say I didn't finish either (B Vet)

first time. basically, it sucked! ;-)

Should be up on D36 website (website is back online) today or Tues., sent them to webmaster this am, hers is a quick overview. Lafferty ran out of gas, as did a lot of others.

We had about 5 % from what I heard that didn't pass, and these all appeared to be "new" riders that weren't aware of the requirements or that they thought they wouldn't be inforced. All the AA's made it with room to spare.
