I have a procircuit r-304 shorts muffler on my 04 KX 125 that give pretty big boost to the low - mid range power...
i was suprised how big of a difference that it actually made
would a 304 standard muffler make any deference for top end power ... because i already have a bean load of bottom and mid i just want a tad more top end power.. im not expecting a huge change
i am planing on erics 144 ported for mid-top but i have no money to do that now.
im looking around on **** for full length 304's for cheep but no luck so far and i was wondering if it would really help mufflers seem to make a difference on this bike.
i have a procircut 294 on it now and it runs better with that than the shorty!!!
but its so damn ugly and im sick of people askin me why im racing with it on

you need more top end on a kx125?! i have a 03 and it has so much on top. i have a r304 and a pc platinum on mine also. but when i first got my bike it sucked in the top end and i put a wiseco piston in and it actually made it have more power in the top end and overrev. i had to rejet richer for some reason. do you have a vforce on there?
