radiator guards and aftermarket tanks

Just wondering if you can do both on 98 220. I'm thinking 3.4 IMS and DEVOL guards.

There should be no problem with the fitment. I used to have an IMS on my 98 220 and I also have the Devol Rad guards.

I did however have to shave down some of the spines on the back side of the radiator shroud. I had to do this in order to have the shroud mounting bolt reach the nut which is on the radiator itself.

For some reason I only I had to do this on the left rad shroud...the right fit perfectly. Please understand this fitment issue was only with the devol rad guard and the rad shroud and not the IMS tank. I would have still had to this even with the stock tank.

You may not even have to do this. Everything may line up just fine for you.
