I think patpipes IS RC. On one hand you say "speculation has never won a title", then you proceed to speculate your @ss-off, lol. Reed can never get in his head? How exactly do you know that? Believe it or not, there are other riders out there that can win the series.

RC's achilles heel has been found i think. He lines up knowing he has allready won, the others line up knowing the best they can do is 2nd behind RC....he always had them beat before the gate dropped. Reed didnt subscribe to this and has RC rattled, now lusk has shown some speed (finally) i think he is maybe even more rattled. All it will take is for cobra, rock, ferrry and travis to up the anty some more, to make him really mad and start making more mistakes.

I just watched the 1st weeks sx-i must admit RC didnt look his usual self.He looked very beatable.Remember reed still did the fastest lap-that must say something to RC-i know if it was me and i went through 18 riders to get to 2nd i would fully expect to have the fastest lap by far.

From what ive seen in mag's and on video's of the australian supercross events they are more like arenacross events, but sometimes those arencross events are larger, but thats because its so large in america, population etc etc. Its a huge step up to the AMA supercross rounds from the australian supercross rounds. 'Ando' was supercross champion last year, in his first year he isnt doing too badly but not as well as what Reed did.

RC is not a better SX'er than some of these guys by the margin that MC was better than his comp at SX. Now some of these guys have started to raise their training bar towards RC's level. Reed may turn out to be the better SX rider. I do think that Ricky will still rule MX though.

Patspipes it's for sure speculation hasn't won the title but having the points lead after the first two rounds sure has, just ask RC! ;) Getting the early jump on points has got to mess with other riders ability to convince themselfs the current leader is beatable.

Think about round ones main gate:

 I'm Ricky the Rocket, the start is mine, these chumps will all be racing for second behind me...."......... Gate drops........ "WHAT THE?! Who's that guy think he is?!"........."What am I doing on the ground AGAIN?!"................"How's he getting away?!"............."Well at least I'm moving up, I'll just pass him"....................checkered flag..........."Well a few more laps and he would have been mine"..........."Stupid AMA lap equipment, there's no way he was setting faster lap times"............

Now we are in the BOB round two:

"Last week he was lucky, this week I'll show them I'm the boss"...............repeat.

Yup I can see how that wouldn't get into somebodies head :silly:

Nobody is assured the crown until they have the points. Maybe he will pull it together, then again maybe not. It's going to make for a fun SX season to watch no matter what. :)
