My shock crapped the bed, and is pitted pretty bad so I'm not sure if a rebuild is an option, However I found a 1987 RM 250 shock on e-bay, does any know if this shock will fit a 1990 YZ250?
Take a look at the shock shaft clevis, very often this is where the shocks are different from one brand to the other. If the clevis is alike, there are some chances it would fit.
