Ok, so I ordered a steering damper rebuild kit from WER for my WER damper (makes sense, right). Oh, and I must say that they were great to deal with. I ordered it on Friday and had it Wednesday with ground UPS shipping. I even called them yesterday with a question on the rebuild and they were very willing to help. Overall great experience.
But, on to my question. I rebuilt the unit but it still does not have much damping force. It's either the fact that I had to re-use the old teflon piece that goes on the shaft or I did not bleed it enough. The new teflon piece was a little bit longer but was enough so that the center shaft would not go straight into the cup, so I could not get the valve body over it. :bang: If anyone has experience rebuilding one of these, I'd appreciate any wisdom. Thanks!
