Repacking my FMF...

I have an FMF Powercore2 silencer on my 01 YZ250 and its been dripping spooge after every ride for the past couple months. I've never had time to repack it but now that I do I wanted to know if there's an alternative to buying the repacking that the motorcycle stores sell. I remember someone posting something before about buying fiberglass from Home Depot and using that. I'm just wondering if thats such a good idea for my bike (I like to baby it when it comes to parts).

Do what will make you feel good inside. The bike specific stuff isn't expensive.
