RM250 keeps popping out of gear ?

I have a 1986 suzuki rm250. when I ride especially in the higher gears it pops out of gear. I have payed close attention and found it is not me accidently bumping the shift lever with my foot. it even pops out on a smooth flat road, more so when I give it throttle . What could possibly be going on here, and how should I go about fixing it?

Worn out transmission...

The dogs on the gears are probably worn to a point.. They shouldn't be pointed.

Time to split the cases and have a look.
