Once a spring has sacked 4mm. Do you remove some preload spacers equivalent to 4mm? I have a a fork spring that was 470mm new but has sacked to 474mm. Is it junk now? Should I add or remove some preload spacers?
Thanks!

Well if your spring was 470mm long & it sacked 4 mm then it should be 466mm long. Then yes, you could add 4mm of preload spacers for a quick fix.

Well yeah, I probably went brain dead with thinking the spring got longer when it sacked out :o . Thanks Shockdoc! So it means, to start, I get spacers to make both of my springs equal and then measure on my bike to see if I have a fork race sag of 50mm. Then, fit equal amount of spacers on each side to reach that 50mm. Is that right?
