I was in the area yesterday but unable to get a loop in. Friends have told me it's in the best of shape. There is a guy who is maintaining it from Illinois who is doing a superb job....ed
It's a great trail! It's the true definition of "single"track. We actually ran into the trail maintenance guy from IL. I think his name is Jim.
My husband was leading the pack with our 3 sons and I was riding sweep. When I came up to my son, they were stopped talking to this nice guy with a chainsaw in his backpack. We had a great conversation and he told us a lot of good info on some trail systems that would be good for us to go to on our vacation. We took his advice and rode Bass Lake and Kinross. Bass Lake was our favorite. We really had a blast at Kinross too.
