lots of overgrown rasberry bushes - hard to even see the trail in many spots - and it was already that way on memorial weekend.
A crew had cut the downed logs out - they should have been cutting the rasberry bushes that tear your jersey sleeves to shreads and left the logs there for a little entertainment
I was hoping the rasberry bushes would not be that tall yet.We rode it last yr in August and they were like 7 feet tall thought they might not be to bad yet.It is like riding through a tunnel that scratches the h*ll out of you.Sounds like a job for some round up.
Controlling the raspberry are a pain. We have a small section on Caberrfee. Like Marsh said "agent orange". But you have to do it early before they get going. I don't think the dnr would like it if they cought us walking the trail with RoundUp in the mddle of the summer. It would be tough to hide the evidence once they started to die. Harley makes chaps for the really bad areas. :)
