Keep the reports coming, it cheers us up to know you had a positive experiance inspite of the weather. I'm more than a little disapointed that you didn't get to ride the rest of the course, but I'll put it in for next year. After you got out of the first creek bed that you crossed several times, the next river is called Rice Fork. You crossed it twice, once just before the 12 mph slow past camp section and again just past check 4. Willow creek is the one between gas and check 6, and is where the helecopter stories of the infamous Cowbell took place. Unfortunatly, there isn't enough open trail left up there to put on a 80 mile event without taking those loops and crossing the rivers. I'll print these stories to share at our meeting this week. Thanks. Brad

Cindi,

Awesome report. I now feel guilty for not suffering through it.
Darn family commitments! To think I fought with my wife for a week to try and get out this thing I HAD to do with my her family rather than race this enduro.
I think I may be "Even Steven" or just damn lucky.

TooBadBrad,
Can you email me at [email protected]? ggoja left his gas can on the trailer and I'm headed to LA either this weekend or next and can take it to him if it can be found.
