Hello,
I bought some seal savers and upon installing them on my 2001 cr250, i noticed that the portion of the left seal saver on the upper tube seems to make contact with the fork guard as the suspension goes down in the stroke. Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you fix it? I thought of grinding off some of the material of the fork guard with a dremel to make some clearance or maybe shimming the fork guard out with washers on the mounting points, though the mount bolts don't have a lot of excess length to allow much shimming. What do you guys think? Could my brake line not have enough slack from the clamp on the fork gaurd to the caliper causing the gaurd to be pulled back? Thanks in advance for your replies.
