From what I understand husky has incorporated a bladder into the 45's on the 06 moto versions. I have serviced the zokes on previous years easily. I would like to be able to service these as well. Since they are sealed does the catridge need to be removed to change the oil?. These are my first forks with a bladder.
If anyone has any info on servicing these it would be appreciated.

figured it out i think

remove the cap
the rebound screw is attached to the rod not threaded to the cap

remove the spring
drain the fork legs
remove the nut threaded to the foot valve
pull out the cartridge
thread the compression valve from the cartridge

drain the cartridge by pumping the rod

clamp the cartridge into a soft jaw in a vice upside down
I was told 215cc's of oil
pour a 1/4 of the oil in to the cartridge ( rod in)
pump the rod to bleed the air
pour some more oil with rod compressed all the way to the top
bleed some more until no air
fully extend the rod and pour the rest

- now when i put the compression valve in some oil overflowed
so the part i am not sure about is with 215cc's of oil it is filled to the top with no air space. Is this the nature of the bladder beast? the bladder is wrapped around the lower part of the cartridge. Hope I can get this working as well as the previous zokes. trying 2.5 weight oil now and may play with the preload a bit. I wish the bladder can be made gone. I had the bike revalved for offroad rocks roots and such.

Will keep you posted.

Thx,

Rich
