Shane Watts form

Reading between the text of what is reported here in Oz, Shane Watts form has been pretty ordinary this year and l read he felt like giving the sport away? Injuries or the bike letting him down?
Is it a case of frustation on the part or Watts, better competition or just an off year?
He is a great rider and personally, love to see him and Merriman shoot it out in the 400 class.

I think the main thing is the two front runners where out last year, Smith
and Andrue. He has had a lot of problems ,bad starts and so on that make
him look even worse. Good rider though and i think he'll do better but not up front any more like last year.
