Sign-Up Problems

I'm posting for a friend because he's having problems signing up. He originally signed up under the user name: mchonda. After he exited the forums and tried to return they told him he wasn't signed in. He tried to use his user name/password and it didn't work. He tried to sign up for a new user name, but was told that his e-mail addy was already registered. He has a 'newer' email address from his provider and I think the forums see it as a free-mail account. If you want/need his information you can e-mail me and I can provide it.

Faded, he hasn't by any chance either updated his browser, uploaded another OS or bought a new computer has he?

NO, same computer, browser, ect., even happened on the same day. I really think it has something to do with the DRN site seeing his e-mail as a free-mail account (www.myexcel.com), but that is just a guess. Any other ideas?
