I will start making signs for DW02 in the next week. I plan on putting signs on I-35, north and south of Highway 51 about a quarter of a mile. They will be white with yellow lettering. I will also put a 2'x4' sign at Coyle road in the median. A sign at 88th street will give you the last turn in the Home Stretch to Cooperland. On the east side of Stillwater, Highway 51, I will also place a sign. I am also considering either a banner or a sign for Cooperland's entrance. The front would say, "DRN and Asterisks Dirtweek, Oct.1-5, Preregistration required at WWW.Dirtrider.net".
On the backside, "Thank you for riding at Cooperland!"
If possible and Brownie is OK with it, I'll put the sign at the entrance on our trail clearing work day. Any added thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Do a couple of crop circles so the flyers can know where to land! :)

The crop circles are already there. They are in the form of an ancient MX course. Legend has it that it was the home of a Former National Champion. :moon:
Jeff, maybe you ought to let Tigger do the navigation.

Good idea! Delta can do some complimentary trail clearing at the same time they drop me off. Nice big wide trail for us beginners. ;)

Natalie - You do remember that Delta has mistaken airports twice?
Even with that I am quite sure the pilot will be able to tell the difference between concrete and dirt!
In any case, who wants a 200 foot wide track. :D

With the potential of two hundred plus riders, we may need on heckuva wide starting gate!
