Spark Plug

I see that the Kawasaki manual calls for a BR8ES spark plug. The R stands for a resistor plug. I do not have a radio or an EFI system on my KDX so can someone tell me why I cannot use a B8ES plug instead? Thanks!

1Steve, there are numerous posts on this. Try a search on "resistor" (Hint: plenty of people have used B8ES plugs without ill effect)

I was told use a resistor plug with my enduro computer it will not interfere with the electronics. I guess they figure since its a trail bike some people might put a computer on it...
