i am in the sticks and 75 ft from the end of the DSL line. so i figure ours would be slow. LOL but dial up is not much slower!

Same upstairs too...guess I'll have to talk to the phone Co. Are any of ther rest of you guys using DSL?

Phone Co is the only game in town here, other then satellite and long dist phone bills :whoa: . I'm the last house on the companys line, 7 miles from town, so maybe that ts the deal? Oh well no worries :nod:

Strangely it was almost 2X faster to Calgary?

I wish I were still at the hotel. I could setup a 30mbps connection. :)

Sprint EVDO Rev0.My Sprint tower is supposed to be RevA by the end of the year,so Im hoping to double those numbers,and lower the latency,which was really high on the test....usually Im around

140 kb/s up
250 ms


Since I moved into a rural area its the only "broadband" choice I have. Hughesnet wasn't an option because they suck,and EVDO is only going to get better over time. .....I hope. :bang:
