spokes

i just came from mountain biking so i know how to true wheels...but the spokes on the rear wheel of my bike are loose and some seem to be seized or something?....i tightened some of them, but a bunch of them wont tighten at all...i go to turn them and the just spring back? i think its about 7 or 8 of them that are seized

ya its perfectly round, its just those couple of spokes wont tighten

I've had goo luck heating up the siezed spokes with the blow torch. O course the tire is removed from the rim when doing this. You may need to use a couple sets of vise grips as well. One set on the nipple and one set on the spoke. This will break them loose.

sounds good...ill try the vice grips only first...

you've got to grease the nipples :eek:

take all of the spokes out and put anti-seize on the threads. No problems ever again :thumb:
