Spooge

I have a 2005 220
All the standard mods (rev pipe,silencer,reeds,air box)
I run golden spectro at 50:1, with a BR9ES plug
Riding at 5k-6k ft
Jetting is factory stock
Bikes runs very nice off the bottom and in the middle
But it sputters and falls apart on the top
And in addition to that I am getting all kinds of spooge out the end of the silencer.
What causes spooge, what is it a symptom of and how can it be cured.

It sounds like your running too rich of a main jet. You might want to try one size smaller main jet.

Rejet the bike for the elevation. Get rid of the Spectro oils also.

Your bike is way rich especially at 5-6k ft. Your plug is one range "cold" also. You need a 8EG plug. Or 8ES. Look around and see what others have for jetting and similar mods. I have a 200 and not a 220 so I don't know what to tell you. You think it runs good now but wait til you go leaner with your jetting/needle and you will have a whole new bike.

I agree, I'd run the oil ratio at 32:1, but whatever
