i just installed some High performance aftermarket racing stickers on my bike. ;) i put them all over my gas tank, rear fender, front frender, light plate thing, and side shrouds. but for some reason, the ones on the gas tank keep getting airbubles in them. :debil: i poked holes in them with a needle, and that doesnt help at all. any advice?

P.S anyone know where i can get new shrouds for a 89 kdx?

Empty the fuel from your tank between using the bike and the stickers will last longer.

before you apply the next set to your tank use a leather punch to perforate the graphics before you install them. i run an ims tank on my 200 and have to do this to each set of graphics that i use.

What don't you get? The tank is made of...? PLASTIC. Not exactly the air tight material is used for dirt bike tanks. So... the gas basically vents through the wall of tank and guess what is on the other side of the plastic "wall", your high performance graphics. Considering that your bike just like everybody elses spends more time sleeping in the garage than actually being ridden the life of said graphics can be extended buy them not being exposed to the fuel vapors. Oh yeah did anybody mention that gas is sort of like a solvent?

lol, no i mean, i thought there might be a different alternative then emptying my gas tank everytime i ride it. and i was being sarcasic about my "high performance aftermarket racing" stickers. they are just stickers that came on a decal sheet, and i have a bunch of them on my bike.
