Hi All,

I'm in desperate need of new swingarm and linkage bearings on my recently acquired KDX250. Other than price as a consideration... would you suggest I go with OEM or Moose parts? My new Dennis Kirk catalog lists both kits from Moose for my bike.

I have heard of Pivots Works kits and read good reviews about them, but they don't seem to have a kit for the KDX250.

Any thoughts on the Moose kits? Thanks.

Moose kits will work just fine. They cost less than OEM too.

You might consider cross referencing your bearing etc part numbers with a KX250 and see if they are the same. Check out buykawasaki.com and utilize the parts diagrams. It could be that the KX and KDX250 use the same parts and you can order the Pivot Works kit for a KX250.

The moose kit will work fine too so either way you are covered.

Has anyone ever tried going to a bearing shop?

A buddy of mine said he bought some for the swingarm on his quad and saved himself $40 or $50 I think

You'll save money on the bearings, but you'll still need to buy expensive OEM seals and sleeves from Kawasaki.
