Last weekend, I took my Road Star Warrior, 102ci V-twin down to the local high school parking lot. Tammy has riden motorcycles and atv's so she had the basics down. She got on the big road monster and practiced starts and stops, making long sweeping turns, and then sharper turns. All of this was at low speed, maybe 10 mph. She did great. What is funny is that she was so nervous :yikes:, she got arm pump from using the clutch. She only stalled the bike once. She still needs some more practice but I might actually get her into riding, even if it is just street. I may try to barrow a TTR 125 to let her get some seat time on a smaller bike with more forgiving terrain than asphalt. :)

Great to hear about....now I must know your secret to getting her out riding. I don't think my wife will have anything to do with riding. Maybe if I get a road bike this next year I can talk here into trying it. Way to go Tammy.

Instead of the TTR, how about letting her try my GR650?
It's in the size class of a 450, low seat height, and lighter than a 650 BMW.
