If you are single go to the next post.
I just picked up my Vor 530en 2002,so far im very happy with it, but there are hidden costs. My wife said "If you get that bike i want a new dishwasher" which opens up new markets for switched on white goods sellers. Maybe a smart bike dealer could throw in a new dishwasher with every wr 426 sold? Or maybe we could start seeing washing machine ads in dirt bike mags. You heard it from me first and my fee is 2% or i will accept tyres.
And on another note, are there any after market exhaust systems available for the 2002 vor's yet? The only one i found was the giannelli system but the cost is out of my league.

Well, I can turn that around a bit...

My wife wanted a week's vacation at a Florida beach with one of our daughters. Okay by me, but a week later I ordered a new KTM 300 with a bunch of goodies!

MAN, I must be one lucky dude....

My wife actually drove me down to the local KTM shop to pick up my bike...
her reward was just peace-and-quiet... Her reasoning was that it was worth the $6000 for me to shut-up about KTM's.

Much to her surprise...I'm talking about it more then ever ;)

I must be a lucky man. I've got the choice of a new bike or going on holiday together. I've chosen the bike of course. Now what will it be?

A buddy of mine had a 92 CR500 and bought a 93 CR500, switched the plastic from the old bike to the new and sold the old bike - never told the wife as he figured "she won't notice".

He had to fork over for a new kitchen remodel when one of his "friends" called up and asked his wife how he liked the new bike - DOH!

You're right about paying for it later. The reason I was offered a new bike is that the boss wants us to start a family next year. If I don't get a new bike now I doubt I ever will.

Hah!!

My wife wanted a new BBR200....! Which she got. And now we ride happily ever after again.

Now I want to trade in XR400 on KTM 400 MXC and she said, "okay, but you'll have to take me to Tahiti .... or to Baja to do go dirt-bike riding."

Dang. This is the way *they* should all be. (grin)
