Let's see, how many personalities . . .:think ?

I guess the "Quad" personality could be called "Predator-Magnum?"

He has the wife-beater shirt and backwards hat, but he does still wear a pair of boots (White's, of course!) and long pants!

I am feeling the pull. The Dark Side is the easy path. I must work to stay on the Light Side! I must use the Force! Aaaaaaaargh!

(Don't worry too much, my 2-wheeled brothers and sisters, nothing can replace 2-wheeled fun!)

Now, Bubba! Hold my beer and watch this!

Psssst... you... XRP. I'll let you in on a little secret. I USED to own a quad but the kind without racks. See... you can come back from the dark side. :)

Hey XRP,

Since you're in the know about these things, Will a Blaster go faster than a Banshee? Whats the top speed of a Grizzly if I put a Hyabusa motor in it?

Figured since you're doin' the quad thing, you'd be the guy to ask ;)

Rod

Do, or do not! There is no try!
Never your mind on where you are, what you are doning! (hrmph)

Hey QUADS ARE GREAT!!! when there being riden by naked women ;) Every time I go to San Felipe Mexico there's tons of naked and half naked women on quads riding around. They get no complaints from me. ;)

However I don't think XR Preditor would look so good wearing only a thong:scream:

They do make a nice place to lean your bike against in the open desert though.

XRP, aren't there enough goonbuggies around here? Your choice may determine the fate of the entire palouse....the Honda shop in Pullman had a new 450 for sticker price and no deposits on it. 1 CR450, 1 CR250, 15 quads....something just aint right here:eek:

Yeah, Oldass, but when you have "Uncle Bubba" doing commercials for you, who do you think they're gonna cater to?

Wish I had me the dinero to go get that CRF, but I'm holding out for a 520EXC.

I am still caught between worlds! But the 2-wheeler ain't goin' anywhere!

goonbuggies--now THAT'S funny!

I know! If I hadn't just bought a new Magnum 500 this spring I'd be all over it!

A very intriguing engine design. From what I've gathered, both pistons stay together, but fire opposite each other. So, consequently, you get a "power" stroke every time. A kind of 2-stroke-4-stroke, if you get my drift.

I dunno about that CR450, judging by the mud on the plastic behind the shock and on the tires the help may have been "quality testing" the bike already....I hate it when shops do that. BTW, the thing is SMALL, so was the CR250, wasn't too impressed with the cockpit size at all. At least the quads were nice and burly.:)

I belive from looking at the diagrams on the Polaris site that it has a 360 degree crank. Not really any thing new, some Triumphs or Nortons in the sixties I belive used the same system. Good thing it doesnt fire both cylinders at the same time. Talk about vibration.

we all know about you guys onlyhunt as an excuse to ride the "goonbuggies". I got a wife as an excuse to take one to the track (she had a bad experience with a "hey, i can jump that knee high pile of dirt on an xr 100 in third gear wide open sitting on the seat" senerio, and now prefers the slow heavy ugly quad (substitute quad for husbandand...... hell i gotta go go

Hey XRP -- if you're seriously considering a quad, give Ol89r a call. He's been in the closet for years, it ends up. And he'll even show you how to properly attire yourself when you use it: trade helmet for ball cap; load cooler of beer; put friend on back; light up cheap stogie. (Just you think I'm kidding, see here): http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/cmi_jeff/lst?.dir=/riding

Vintage, I'm not sure these fine lads know what a Twingle is. Ahh, more than one good scoot came out of Austria, and I have a real cool 175cc version of one;)
